An especially lovely and sought after late Art Deco styled hand crafted vintage Diamond solitaire engagement ring. This piece dates to the 1940's/50's and remains in perfect condition ready for a new journey. A wonderful romance; the fabulous sparkly central Diamond was recycled from olden times when this ring was made and so begins her third cycle with her new owner. The distinctive angularity of the design which is accented with baguette cut Diamond twinklies to the shoulders contrasts with the soft roundness of the old Diamond (which weighs 0.54ct) and the carved heart motif to the collet. Just charming! The setting all of Platinum for strength and the band of 18ct White Gold which was a newly fashionable metal at the time. An all original, unique and ethically sound choice for the vintage gal, the ring size can easily be altered to suit, but measures as an 'L' or '5.5' as is.
